Liquid Biological Soil Amendment

soil K™ BIO liquid is a consortium of seven strains of beneficial bacteria that function in all stages of the potassium cycle, including acting in the plant’s rhizosphere to solubilize organic potassium, making it easier for plants to absorb. This product also performs a broad spectrum of other nutrient and biological functions that support soil and plant health. Suitable for peach, cherry, plum, nectarine, and citrus production, almond, pecan, and pistachio crops, corn, and tomatoes.

 

Product Description

In addition to improving plant uptake of potassium in applied fertilizer, by solubilizing potassium in the soil, soil K™ BIO liquid allows a grower to tap into the store of potassium in the soil that is otherwise plant unavailable. Typically, 90% or more of potassium in soil in unavailable to the crop.

soil K™ BIO can be blended with liquid fertilizers and other amendments and can be used to impregnate dry fertilizers. Product has a shelf life of 2 years.

How does soil K™ BIO support soil health and plant growth?

 

Potassium Impact
  • Mineralization: Decomposes organic matter to release potassium compounds in soluble, inorganic form that are plant available
  • Solubilization: soil K™ BIO bacteria release organic acids that convert bound inorganic potassium compounds into plant available forms
  • Uptake: Increases root uptake of available potassium

 

Fertilizer Impact
  • soil K™ BIO bacteria release IAA (Indole acetic acid) in the soil that improve nutrient uptake
